Hello everyone... Sorry for the long time between posts. Not much has happened in the past few months to post. That is until now, in late may I posted my tractor and a steel building for sale in craigslist. In under two weeks both items sold and we got near asking price for both. It was such a work of God because both items were paid for a picked up on the same day. We were both very excited about this because I advertised the building some time ago in a local paper and only got one offer which was way too low. The other exciting part is the buyers for the tractor came from Iowa. The picture above is the tractor I sold. Just goes to show that nothing is impossible when you leave it with God. We got enough from the tractor sale to pay it off completely and still have enough left to buy a new craftsman 24hp lawn tractor and pay off some bills. The building money also went to pay off some bills plus we did get some fun stuff as I got a new iPod classic and gave my old iPod to Carey.
Other big news is that we put the house on the market. We are asking $168k for the house and 20 acres. This will leave us 63 acres to build on in the future. Please pray that we get a buyer. We will be moving into the basement of Carey's mom's place in the interim with goal to start building in 2010. This will give us so time to get bills paid so we can afford to build our new house. We are having family and friends come this weekend to help us clean out the clutter in the house. Hopefully this will help sell the place plus it just needs to be done as there is alot of items that were left by my grandparents when they moved out many years ago. We are planning another cleaning day in august unless we get some buyers and it has to be done sooner.
The other big event this summer for us is returning to the sonshine music festival. We weren't able to attend last year because of the wedding but decided we had to return this year as we now have a special connection to the festival since this was where the marriage proposal took place. So as you can see we have a busy summer ahead and we ask for your prayers. We will keep you posted on how things go during the next few months. God Bless
Michael
