Hello Friends,
I know it has been far to long since our last post. For those that don’t know Carey and I are adopting from the Minnesota waiting children program. Basically what that means is we are adopting a child/ren that are in the state foster care system. We have had quite the journey to say the least but it has been great and I wouldn’t change it for anything. We completed our final interview session yesterday, well at least at the agency. Have to finish my family history when the social worker comes for our home visit on the 16th. On that day the social worker will come to our place and do the home visit then we will have a support party where family and friends will come over to meet the social worker. This will give the social worker the chance to meet the people in our life that will help us out and allow any questions to be asked. The past few weeks for both of us have been grueling as I have had to work early mornings to make up time since I am saving my vacation for when we are placed with the child/ren. Carey has been very busy too finishing paperwork for the adoption along with working and keeping up our apartment. I try to help where I can so she can get a break here and there. We are hoping to start being matched with kids in august. We thank you for you continued prayer support.
